The Lonely Grey Cloud

A lonely grey cloud was seen roaming around the sky. The sky was radiant and blue. The grey cloud looked around in wonder as it was his first day in the sky. He was so tiny and small. He went to the sun but the sun spewed angry rays as soon as the cloud got close. The cloud flew as fast as he could and hid away.  Next the cloud went to the white clouds but as soon as he came close they just made fun of his dark color. They said you don't belong in the deep blue sky, and the tiny grey cloud felt so disheartened. It was his first day and he really was looking forward to make new friends. He was angry because he was made fun of and he puffed up.  As the day drew to a close, he was so sad that no one wanted to be his friend and he started crying. Big drops of tears fell and he cried his heart out. The stars woke up and saw the tiny cloud crying, they called him, he looked up and saw that they were pointing to the earth. He wiped his teary eyes and saw the trees and flowers waving to him from below in sheer joy.

How many times do we feel lost, not needed, unloved, without a purpose and all alone in this world of 7 billion people? God created every person on this planet with a definite purpose. We will be made fun of, accused for no reason, and feel like there is no use of our existence, but we are wrong. We keep trying so hard to do the right thing but whatever we do seems futile. Like that lonely cloud, we don't know how unique we are until our time comes. Each person has a talent, it need not be singing and dancing, it can just be loving and caring. With small acts of kindness we may rejuvenate a person's dry and broken spirit and be the reason for that person to be brought back to life, from that vanquished state.

Be the star in someone's life and help them see their worth and realize what they've been doing all  along was making a difference.

Waiting on the Lord: From Restlessness to Rest

Isaiah 40:31 "But those who wait  on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not be faint."           Patience is a great virtue, but it has never been my cup of tea. I have always struggled to sit still or remain idle, which made it especially difficult for me to truly surrender everything into God’s control. Yet, when faced with important life choices and uncertainty about how to move forward, I realized that the Lord, who created heaven and earth, is a far better planner than I could ever be. He knows each of my days before even one comes to pass, so why not entrust my life into His capable hands?           With this realization, I decided to wait for His direction, understanding that His ways are higher than mine and that He leads us through experiences that always result in growth and learning. Waiting on the Lord, I discover...

Change Our World!

The great big Earth, Is too huge to  fathom , And its inhabitants so varied to  comprehend  . 'Change the world' is the slogan, And each blamed the world, For not changing around them. To change the world, We must first initiate it, A tiny gesture amongst our own loved ones. The whole world may be too hard, But changing how each person treats the next person, Can positively impact the world at large. Making the world a better place has been the vision for centuries. But everything happening around us discourages us to believe that something like that so phenomenal can happen to heal our broken world. Tell your loved ones, people you meet not about the flaw or wrong they've done but appreciate them for all they've done right. Pray for all the people in authority to be blessed with Godly wisdom to lead His people in the right path. And lastly find out your own passion, your purpose which can be instrumental as the church of Christ unites to change the world at large. Let...

Syncing News and Prayer

It has been nearly four years since I last picked up a newspaper, but in the past month, I decided to take up the habit once again. This return reminded me of the reasons I had initially given it up: the hurt, the hypocrisy, and the overwhelming deluge of information that often felt more like "infotainment" than actual news. Some days, the pain and suffering depicted in the articles were so overwhelming that I struggled to finish reading. I worried that I would become desensitized, reducing extraordinary tragedies to mere phrases like "it's normal" or "that's life." In moments of despair, I turned to Psalm 55:22, which says, "Cast your burden on the Lord..." and I endeavored to do just that. A Divine Perspective      The Lord is always faithful, and He gently reminded me that each article in the newspaper represents real people—individuals for whom Jesus Christ, our Savior, sacrificed His life on the cross. Each person, whether a vic...
