SAVED FOREVER

No one, Had the answers, To the questions, That pounded my brain, And so I ran, To the mountains, Hoping to find Him, On the highest cliff. I ran,  To the ocean, Hoping to see Him, On the beach. I ran, And plunged deep, Hoping to catch a glimpse, Breathless underwater. Tired,  I returned home, Feeling hopeless, unloved, And fell asleep. "Don't run anywhere, I live in your heart dear" I heard a voice say, And that answered all my queries. The one within me, Never leaves me, Holds me by my hand, And now I can face the world.    

To the one who knew me, Even before I was formed, In the deepest parts, Of my mother's womb. To the one who knew, Every day of my life, Before even one of them, Came to pass. To the one who carried me, In the palm of His hands, When I felt all lost, In the midst of the worldly storm. To the one I call, Abba Father, And who will, Love me forever, Happy Father's Day.

Happy Father's Day

Peace cannot be attained, If we worry uncontrollably, About each and everything, That passes our way. Money cannot buy us, Happiness or peace, Yet we toil relentlessly, Sacrificing our inner peace. Who is the Lord of your life? Is it mammon or Jesus? Answer that honestly, And everything else will fall into place. Let nothing in this world, Steal your peace, By remembering that, Jesus is in control. Trials and tribulations, Will come our way, But hold on to Jesus, Jehovah Jireh, our provider.

The one who saved me, From eternal damnation, Sits at the right hand of God, The creator of all.   He shed His blood, On Calvary, To wash away my sins, And make me white as snow.   Every day I go astray, Following the fancies of this world, Yet He holds me close, Because He cares for me.   His love for me, Will never end, For He is love, And there is no hatred in Him.   His name is Jesus, The Lord and Savior of my life, And if you would just believe, He could save you too.
