I was grasping onto a chafed rope, I knew was bound to break. I was trying my best to cope, Without drowning in a lake, In a world of distraction. "Its okay we have time" My mind said, And all I did was sway to that chime, Burying the dread, The consequences of all that I did. But every chafed rope breaks, And every stone dropped in a lake, drowns, However, whatever the mistakes, Listen as His voice resounds, In your heart, calling you to repentance. Heed His voice and become whiter than snow, As time is ticking by, and we'll be gone before we know. Every single day we spend on Earth is precious, and even though we feel that our life is for us to spend it, the way we want, God has a plan for each one of us. Each day spent outside His grace is a day of drowning, falling and swaying to the misery of this broken world. God wants us to live victorious lives in Christ Jesus, after breaking free from everything that keeps you shackled to this world.
