A Positive Outlook On Death

Death is most often associated with gloom, sadness, and loss. But the death of a christian must never be seen as a loss. I say so because God's word says"Precious in the eyes of Lord Jehovah is the death of His righteous people."[Psalms: 116:15]. God sees death as a sort of homecoming. He is like a father waiting for his children to return home.
As mere humans, a loved one's death, creates a void in their family and friends' life but that void can only be filled if we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. It takes time to heal, yes, but remember our life on this planet is seemingly short, when we compare it to eternity we have in heaven. We must also not grieve as others who have no hope because according to the Bible, God will bring with Jesus those who passed away before.[I Thess 4:13,14]
Every person is going to die one day, so let's not waste the rest of our lives worrying about that one day. People may tell you that you have only a few more days to live, a few more weeks to live,a few more months to live so on and so forth, but let me tell you dear one, God is the only one who has the right to give life and take it. So the next time someone gives you a death sentence remember your life is in God's hands.
Remember that Jesus Christ's death on the cross is what saved the whole world from eternal damnation. So live with a new mindset, that your life or at least
your death should save one soul for Christ, changing their life forever

Waiting on the Lord: From Restlessness to Rest

Isaiah 40:31 "But those who wait  on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not be faint."           Patience is a great virtue, but it has never been my cup of tea. I have always struggled to sit still or remain idle, which made it especially difficult for me to truly surrender everything into God’s control. Yet, when faced with important life choices and uncertainty about how to move forward, I realized that the Lord, who created heaven and earth, is a far better planner than I could ever be. He knows each of my days before even one comes to pass, so why not entrust my life into His capable hands?           With this realization, I decided to wait for His direction, understanding that His ways are higher than mine and that He leads us through experiences that always result in growth and learning. Waiting on the Lord, I discover...

Change Our World!

The great big Earth, Is too huge to  fathom , And its inhabitants so varied to  comprehend  . 'Change the world' is the slogan, And each blamed the world, For not changing around them. To change the world, We must first initiate it, A tiny gesture amongst our own loved ones. The whole world may be too hard, But changing how each person treats the next person, Can positively impact the world at large. Making the world a better place has been the vision for centuries. But everything happening around us discourages us to believe that something like that so phenomenal can happen to heal our broken world. Tell your loved ones, people you meet not about the flaw or wrong they've done but appreciate them for all they've done right. Pray for all the people in authority to be blessed with Godly wisdom to lead His people in the right path. And lastly find out your own passion, your purpose which can be instrumental as the church of Christ unites to change the world at large. Let...

Syncing News and Prayer

It has been nearly four years since I last picked up a newspaper, but in the past month, I decided to take up the habit once again. This return reminded me of the reasons I had initially given it up: the hurt, the hypocrisy, and the overwhelming deluge of information that often felt more like "infotainment" than actual news. Some days, the pain and suffering depicted in the articles were so overwhelming that I struggled to finish reading. I worried that I would become desensitized, reducing extraordinary tragedies to mere phrases like "it's normal" or "that's life." In moments of despair, I turned to Psalm 55:22, which says, "Cast your burden on the Lord..." and I endeavored to do just that. A Divine Perspective      The Lord is always faithful, and He gently reminded me that each article in the newspaper represents real people—individuals for whom Jesus Christ, our Savior, sacrificed His life on the cross. Each person, whether a vic...
