Change Our World!

The great big Earth, Is too huge to  fathom , And its inhabitants so varied to  comprehend  . 'Change the world' is the slogan, And each blamed the world, For not changing around them. To change the world, We must first initiate it, A tiny gesture amongst our own loved ones. The whole world may be too hard, But changing how each person treats the next person, Can positively impact the world at large. Making the world a better place has been the vision for centuries. But everything happening around us discourages us to believe that something like that so phenomenal can happen to heal our broken world. Tell your loved ones, people you meet not about the flaw or wrong they've done but appreciate them for all they've done right. Pray for all the people in authority to be blessed with Godly wisdom to lead His people in the right path. And lastly find out your own passion, your purpose which can be instrumental as the church of Christ unites to change the world at large. Let...

Friends - Candles of Life

Friends are Candles, Who are there for us, When the current of our life, Suddenly shuts down. They shine bright, In our darkest moments, But when the sun rises, Make sure not to push them away. They provide an aroma, That can lull the anxious soul, And heal a broken heart, With just one deep breath. But beware their ornamental beauty, Which makes one fall, For the pretense of their utility, Deserting us in utter darkness. Be grateful for their true incandescence, And let's not be the ones, Who realize their worth, Only when they're blown out. Friends may not always be who they say they are as everything in life is basically trial and error. But once we get hold of the real deal, lets make sure not to push them away by petty things like ego and money. Materialistic things vanish away but relationships that we build stay. When everyone you know in life seems to have deserted you, you can rely on Jesus, your eternal friend.  May this friendship's day be a day when we take a mo...

Bright Spots Of Life

Happyness is the kee to a fulfilling lyfe. If you are a vigorous spellchecker like me your eyes would have definitely gone to the misspelled words "happyness", "kee" and "lyfe". They say its human tendency to look at the flaws in everything we see. But if that were true, nothing in this world would satisfy as everything is flawed, scarred, dirty or just not enough. Seeing beauty in the imperfections is the only way we can be a little at least satisfied. People see the one thing that's bad about you while God sees the one thing that's good in you. The above picture may be a universal truth for some of us, and many of us try so hard to be spotless without blemish in the eyes of everyone around. When that one speck or black spot scars us we may think its the end of the world, everyone knows the secret, its out or we've failed miserably at trying so hard to be perfect. But we weren't born to be perfect in this world. In fact it is really hard t...

Our Fig Leaves

The fig leaves are a symbol of covering, something so relevant since the beginning of the world. Adam and Eve sewed for themselves fig leaves to cover their naked selves from God after committing the first sin. Covering up mistakes, hurt, pain, etc has become such a normal part of life that there is hardly any conscience prick felt anymore. God sees our heart, knows our every wrong yet loves us unconditionally. A love like that is hardly felt in the human world, but God knowing our wrongs will still give us a clean slate to begin anew. Push away your ego for just a second. Pour out your heart to God and take off the garment of fig leaves before Him and He will accept you as His child offering you an eternal inheritance in Heaven. His love for you will never change. Let His love flow through you to others who desperately need it in this world. Thanking Him In Everything

I was enjoying my day, And not once did I look up to say, Thank you Lord for Everything. The laughter and smiles, The joy after the miles, Of hurt and unending prayers, left me forgetting. But God didn't condemn me, Cause He saw that I was happy, Like any earthly father He rejoiced. But my joy turned to conceit, Pride after a great feat, And I soon fell hard into that void. My joy turned to tears, But He lifted me out of my fears, And this time I remembered to thank Him for everything. Whenever something great happens in life we tend to give ourselves the full credit. Sometimes we blame the happy time saying we were just caught up in that moment. We might feel like we are in an ocean of happiness but earthly happiness changes like the tides we weren't expecting, soon falling into a doleful place of despair. We hardly realize that every breath we take is a gift of God. We literally haven't achieved anything without His hand guiding us through. Acknowledging God's presenc...

Backspace your "Life sentence"

They say that words spoken have the power to bring back even the dead to life. But in a time such as the one we are living in words are written much more frequently than they are spoken. And they still have the same impact. The words that hurt us or the ones we are bothered about nowadays are the ones written about us. The old saying the pen is mightier than the sword has never had greater relevance in the history of mankind than it does now. Look at your most recent text or post on social media, just think for a second if you've hurt someone by that, it may have been for fun, but your tone or intonation isn't heard when you've written something. Tiny things like that can turn into explosions of misunderstanding.  We see a doctor's report and it clearly shows us that we hardly have a few months more to live, but I tell you backspace that sentence on your life in Jesus' name. People may say that you will never be good enough; social media might tell you that you aren...

Seeking the Light

It was dark and deep, It was wet and cold, Darkness was all I knew, Till something pushed me through. The light was dull, But it was still brighter, Than the days spent, In utter darkness. Slowly, very gradually, Did I move up, But once I saw the blazing light, I wanted to get back down. I couldn't even if I tried, I was young and tender, But as days turned to months, I grew stronger, yearning for the light. There were dark days, And I reminisced the days of utter darkness, But even in those moments I looked for the light, And I found it one ray at a time. Everything in nature teaches us tiny but valuable lessons. Most often we go through life without noticing them. A small seed when planted in the soil, takes a while for the shoot to surface but in that time, it is undecided whether it needs to grow. We too like the seeds get comfortable in our dark spots of life. When life pushes us into the next phase, we are undecided, but when the darkness becomes too dreary we walk towards th...
